Questions about donating
Is my donation secure?
Yes. Indian online gifts are collected through Razorpay (UPI, cards, netbanking, wallets). We confirm a donation only after Razorpay captures the payment — never from a self-reported transfer. Bank/UPI QR is a backup and is matched by our team.
Will I receive an acknowledgement?
Yes. Successful Razorpay donations get an email acknowledgement (and an 80G receipt number if you provided PAN). Manual bank/UPI gifts are acknowledged after we match the credit.
Can I donate without sharing my name?
You can ask us not to publish your name. Name, email and mobile are still required so Razorpay can process the payment and we can send your acknowledgement. That information stays private — it is not a public donor listing.
How will my donation be used?
Donations support patient and caregiver guidance, community and education programs, and research collaboration for people living with myositis in India and around the world.
Can I donate from outside India?
Yes. The donation form shows amounts in your local currency, and you can change the currency any time. International donations are received in our FCRA-registered account — our team emails you the payment details.
